This is a vintage Burrell 8” roast slicer with its original paper sleeve. Made in the USA by Burrell Cutlery Co., Ellicottville, NY, this features a stainless steel and a solid wood handle secured with brass rivets. The is marked “Top Flight Stainless Steel by Burrell” and has a fine slicing edge designed for carving roasts and meats. The original sleeve shows some age-related wear and discoloration but remains intact. The has some minor spots which could most likely be polished off
