Vintage Famille Noire Style Asian Water Lily Black‎ Floral Porcelain Brass Lamp

Elegant vintage Asian-style porcelain table lamp decorated in a Famille Noire–style palette, featuring a rich black ground adorned with hand-painted water lilies (lotus- blooms), aquatic foliage, and insects rendered in soft pastel enamels. The graceful vase-form body is mounted on a carved wood base and finished with brass-tone hardware, creating a striking and timeless decorative accent. This lamp draws inspiration from traditional Chinese Famille Noire porcelain while reflecting the mid-20th-century Chinoiserie revival popular in Western interior design. The water lily and lotus motifs—symbols of harmony, renewal, and beauty—add both decorative and cultural depth to the piece. 📍 Origin • Asian-style export porcelain 🎨 Design Style • Famille Noire–style (black ground with multicolor enamel decoration) • Chinoiserie / Asian- décor • Hand-painted water lilies, aquatic foliage, and insect motifs • Vase-form lamp with carved wood base and brass-tone fittings 📐 Approximate Measurements • Height: ~20 inches (to top of socket) • Width: ~7.5 inches at widest point • Base diameter: ~6 inches 🔍 Condition Vintage condition with light surface wear consistent with age.
