Bethany Lowe Designs Retired "Maison de Vente" Velveteen Easter Bunny 16"

A rare and exquisite find for the serious holiday collector! This retired Bethany Lowe Easter figurine features a velveteen rabbit in a warm, toasted-cinnamon hue. This piece is part of the beloved French-inspired series, featuring a hand-woven backpack basket adorned with a weathered Maisons de Vente (Auction House) label.  The bunny is beautifully detailed with glass-like eyes, a hand-applied nose, and an olive-green satin neck ribbon. In its hands, it cradles a delicate bird's nest with two speckled eggs. The entire piece stands on a mossy base accented with silk violets and pansies.  Condition: Good vintage/pre-owned condition.  No fading to the velvet or damage to the delicate basket.  This piece is new with tags as it is part of unsold inventory from a family country store that closed in the early 2000s.  The only flaw is a weak spot in the legs.  It stands perfectly, but there is a break in the legs under the velvet covering.  Just be cautious when moving/storing him.
