The Sunset TR-100 was manufactured in the 1960s to early 1970s as a portable electronic flash unit for photography. It featured both AC and DC power options, making it versatile for studio and field use. The integrated light meter dial helped photographers determine proper exposure settings before the era of automatic flash systems. These units were popular among amateur and semi-professional photographers during the transition from flashbulbs to electronic flash.
