Product Description (quoted):

This kamidana (Shinto altar) was created with the concept of having the atmosphere of ancient Japanese architecture, such as that found in shrines, while also fitting into both Japanese and Western-style interiors. The name Toyokumo comes from Toyokumo-no-kami, the god of clouds, as it evokes the image of clouds when looked up at. This is the Compact Wide version.

△About the Compact Wide△

This is a very compact and neat design, but when actually installed, it doesn't overstate its presence and blends well into the room. It can enshrine multiple amulets, sakaki (sacred branches), hamaya (exorcism arrows), etc. It also comes with a set of perfectly sized ritual implements for offering rice, salt, and water, which are considered essential.

△Design with No Visible Hardware△

This is one of the features of the Toyokumo series. The hardware is completely hidden within the slim, thin body, so no hardware is visible from the outside.

△We Focused on Materials for a Sacred Space△

A kamidana is a very important place for enshrining the gods. That's why we paid close attention to the materials. We use solid hard maple wood. To showcase the beauty of the natural wood, it is left unfinished and carefully finished to provide a pleasant tactile sensation.

△Securely Fixed for Long-Term Use△

We want to prevent the unit from falling under any circumstances. To ensure long-term installation and safety even during earthquakes, we use screws specifically designed for plasterboard for secure fixation, allowing you to use it for many years to come.

Thank you for your consideration.
