【Sowing】
Recommended sowing period: Mid-April to late May, late August to late September

Optimal germination temperature: 15-20°C

【Cultivation Method】
1. Fill pots with seed-starting soil and moisten thoroughly with water beforehand.

2. These seeds require light (light-loving seeds), so do not cover them with soil, or cover them with a very thin layer (about 1mm).
They prefer environments with plenty of sunlight, good drainage, and a tendency to dry out. Be careful not to expose them to rain.

3. When cultivating in soil, such as on former factory sites, be aware that if heavy metals are present in the soil, they may be absorbed and accumulated more than in general vegetables.

【How to Use】
A succulent plant from the Aizoaceae family, native to South Africa.

When grown large, it will flower in early summer. The vesicles on the surface of the leaves and stems sparkle like crystals, giving it a unique crunchy texture.

When irrigated with saltwater similar to seawater, it develops a natural salty flavor, making it a healthy vegetable.

Enjoy raw in salads, or use in blanched dishes, sautéed, tempura, and more.
