This is the hard type, so your waist won't sink in, allowing you to sleep comfortably with your back straight. The sides of the bed are also sturdy, so they won't lose their shape even when sat on, and you won't fall off. It has been used for about 1.5 years, but since a pad and sheets were always used, the mattress is clean and in good condition.

Assembly is very easy. As shown in the photos, it was used placed on circular mats for the bed legs (not included in this set) in a tatami room. It is solidly built with no creaking sounds, allowing for a peaceful sleep. When the mattress is placed on it, the height from the floor (tatami) is about 55cm, which is a perfect height for sitting and makes it easy to get into bed.

This is no longer needed due to a move and a replacement with a larger bed. Non-smoking, pet-free environment.
