Description
A set of three high-quality Hagi-yaki teacups with floral patterns, made by Shōhō of Hagi Tōen.
It is rare for Hagi-yaki to have painted designs. These are new and unused, but due to long-term home storage, the color of the glaze inside is gradually changing. The seven-color change (nanabake) effect has not yet occurred as they have not been used. (We believe the color will continue to change with use.) We are offering them at a lower price because of this.
? Features the Shōhō maker's mark.

Diameter: 8.4 cm

Hagi-yaki by Shōhō of Tsubaki Hidegama has a simple and warm atmosphere that soothes the user's heart. Please enjoy the gradual color changes of Hagi-yaki, known as nanabake (seven-color change), with your favorite tea in your own personal teacup.
