Sakai Takayuki Non-stick Steeltech Wok 33cm
A 33cm wok made of steel that resists sticking.
It can be used with metal spatulas and is also compatible with IH cooktops.
I bought this a few years ago when I went directly to a knife shop in Sakai to buy a kitchen knife. The shopkeeper recommended it to me. It was an expensive item, so I kept it stored away without using it, but my friend who bought one with me raved about it.
It's described as iron beyond iron, meaning heat distributes evenly, and professionals apparently prefer to use it.
The surface is very beautiful, rust-resistant, and the oil adheres well, making it resistant to sticking.
I tend to avoid iron woks because I'm afraid of burning and rust, but this is made with Steel Tech, which is not a coating. It's a process where the surface structure of the iron itself is altered through special high-temperature treatment, overcoming the drawbacks of iron.
Although I haven't used it, I imagined it would make perfect, fluffy fried rice.
I hesitated to list it, but I have several new frying pans, so I've decided to sell it.
I checked the price online for reference, and it's the same as when I bought it. Although it's new, I'm listing it on Mercari at a reduced price. I'm not considering any further price reductions, so please understand. I hope it finds someone who appreciates its value.
