Crazy Charlie Alpha Light Game Saltwater Flies (5-Pack)

A set of 5 Crazy Charlie salt flies, specialized for Ajing and Mebaru fishing.

Model updated in March 2025.
Improved weight balance.

While commonly used with fly tackle, these are flies we highly recommend for light game spinning tackle.

They can be used with the exact same setup as when using Tosa Kabura for light game.

When you're unsure what the fish are feeding on...
That's when you bring out the Crazy Charlie.

Experience incredible catches that surpass Kabura, even on difficult daytime fishing trips.
At night, you can easily achieve one cast, one fish just by casting and retrieving.

We use size 8 Japanese-made, thin-shank, barbed-less hooks with excellent resilience, and all hook points have been inspected.

For the wing, we use the highest quality polar bear fur, which is difficult to obtain due to the Washington Convention.
When wet, it becomes translucent, making it harder for fish to see through.
This cannot be replicated with synthetic fibers.

The body also uses a similarly translucent material.

After numerous tests, we have carefully selected the optimal hook shape, strength, size, and materials for Ajing and Mebaru.

Environmentally friendly lead-free design.

We recommend attaching them like a Kabura, by threading the line through and securing with a stopper knot.
When doing so, please ensure the hook point faces upwards.

Please let us know your preferred colors from ①②③④⑤ for your 5 flies in the comments after purchase. They will be sent via Yu-Packet Post Mini (with a case to prevent crushing). For example, 5 of ① or 2 of ③, 3 of ④.

Additionally, if you can provide details about the specific situations you'll be using them in, we can arrange them accordingly.

Fly fishing is a gentleman's sport.
If you catch too many, please release them gently.
Please be careful not to overfish.
