Description: This is a vintage The Fireside Cook Book by James Beard. This is the second printing from 1949. This contains 1217 recipes and over 400 color pictures. This is a hardback with dustjacket. The dustjacket can come off and has a beautiful 4-color poster on the inside meant to be displayed in your kitchen or game room.  Please review all of the included pictures as they are considered part of the description.     Condition: This is in wonderful condition. The inside pages are clean without any damage, writing or staining, except a note showing this was given as a gift - see photo. The pages are all intact and tight in the binding. The book itself shows some signs of shelf wear.  The dustjacket shows signs of wear mainly on the edges. It is not torn or damaged, other than the most wear along the top of the binding.
