Antique Copper Brass Art Nouveau Thistle Kettle & Stand Carl Deffner Attributed

Stunning antique Art Nouveau / Jugendstil copper and brass spirit tea kettle with ornate warmer stand, featuring beautifully detailed thistle/floral engraving and gorgeous aged patina. The kettle displays wonderful craftsmanship throughout, with a warm copper body, contrasting brass details, decorative handle and an elegant sculptural stand. The underside retains a visible maker’s hallmark/stamp; please see close-up photos for this important detail. Approximately 15” tall x 5” wide. Beautiful antique condition with age-appropriate patina, surface wear, light scuffs and small imperfections consistent with its age. The stand has a very slight wobble when sitting by itself on a flat surface, but sits securely with the kettle in place. I have left the original patina rather than aggressively polishing it. A striking statement piece for an Art Nouveau, Jugendstil, antique copper, European metalware or decorative arts collection. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the condition description.
