Vintage Hand Carved Wood Carving Knife Fork Knives Locking Holder 4 Piece Set

Vintage carving and serving utensil set with hand carved wooden handles and matching carved wood display holder. Set includes four utensils: a large carving knife, two prong carving fork, serrated slicing knife, and smaller knife. Each piece features a carved wood handle with metal fittings and guard. The wooden holder features carved floral and leaf decoration with metal retaining brackets that hold the utensils in place. The set shows age and use including scratches, finish wear, discoloration, oxidation and other cosmetic wear. There is a noticeable area of wood loss/damage on the center of the holder along with several mounting holes. It appears something may have originally been attached in this area but is no longer present. No maker or country of origin markings have been confirmed.
