Vintage Original Thewalt West Germany Beer Steins Pewter Lids Set of 2

Bring a little old-world Germany to your bar or collection with this gorgeous matching pair of Original Thewalt beer steins. The detail on these is fantastic. Each stoneware stein features deeply raised, hand-colored scenes of traditional German village life against a rich cobalt blue background. One depicts musicians and gathering scenes, while the other features dancing and celebration. The ornate pewter lids are beautiful on their own, with engraved detailing and decorative thumb lifts. Both are marked Original Thewalt Western Germany on the bottom, making them genuine German-made pieces from the era before German reunification. At approximately 6 inches tall, they're a wonderful display size and would look fantastic in a home bar, German beer collection, man cave, or Oktoberfest display.
