【Black x Light Scallion Green Floral Embroidery Double-Sided Pattern Maru Obi】
This is a rare antique Maru Obi with a Rokutsu pattern.
It has a pattern for a double drum knot on one side, and another pattern facing the opposite direction from the tip of the hanging end (Images 3 & 14).
It's a rather unique Maru Obi.
【Stains, etc.】
There is a stain of about 2cm on the hanging end of one side, and a small hole in a part of the stain (Image 9).
There is a stain on the drum knot of the other side (Image 16).
The side seam is frayed for about 30cm (Image 20).
【Overall Assessment】
If the frayed seam is repaired, it can still be worn.
It's a beautiful antique obi with a good color and pattern, and lovely embroidery.
