The lower tip-resistant skirt housing is clearly stamped and embossed for **THE GAS SERVICE CO.**, a historic natural gas provider that served utility routes throughout the midwestern region of the United  This unit has been uniquely modernized and converted into a fully functional plug-in accent lamp. It is fitted with a standard brown household power cord exiting the lower burner housing. It illuminates beautifully, casting a rich, warm ambient red glow through the glass, making it an ideal statement piece for industrial decor, home bars, man caves, or a unique desk lamp.
