Established in 1871, Newcomb-Macklin is renowned for its high-quality, hand-finished frames, making these a fantastic find for collectors and art enthusiasts.  Features:  Dimensions: Each frame has an exterior measurement of 9 3/4 long by 7 5/8 wide with a depth of 1 3/4. The interior picture opening accommodates a 5 x 3 3/4 print or photo.  Frame Style: Ornate gilt (gold-toned) oval frames with decorative floral and scroll embellishments at the compass points.  Artwork: Includes two vintage prints featuring classic 18th-century French Rococo-style romantic parlor scenes under glass.  Authenticity: The original paper labels are intact on the backing, reading Established 1871, Newcomb-Macklin Co. Picture Frame Makers, and featuring the vintage Chicago telephone exchange Superior 5415.  Condition:  Both frames are in excellent vintage condition with a beautiful, authentic patina.
