Vintage Gold Tone Filigree Brooch Lot of 2 Opalescent Faux Pearl MCM Floral Pins

CONDITION  Good pre-owned vintage condition. Both brooches display beautifully with light surface wear and minor age-related finish variation or darkening. A small amount of discoloration/oxidation is visible around portions of the pin hardware and recessed filigree. Tiny dark specks or marks are visible on the smaller oval cabochon under close inspection. All cabochons and faux pearls appear present. Both retain their pin stems and rollover-style safety clasps. DESCRIPTION  Beautiful coordinating lot of two unsigned vintage gold-tone brooches featuring delicate openwork filigree leaves and graceful looping wire designs.  One brooch is accented with two luminous oval opalescent cabochons that reflect flashes of pink, green, blue and ivory. The second features three creamy white faux pearls arranged among sweeping curves and intricate marquise-shaped filigree leaves.  Although the two brooches have different abstract botanical designs, they share the same distinctive leaf detailing and gold-tone finish, allowing them to display beautifully as a coordinating pair. Their airy, sculptural styling is characteristic of mid-century costume jewelry from approximately the 1960s1970s.  The oval accents have a mother-of-pearl-like appearance; however, their material is unmarked and untested, so they are not represented as genuine shell or gemstone.
