Large Blue and White Chocolate Pot or Coffee Pot # 27396

This is a rather large blue and white and gold chocolate pot or coffee pot with scene of women on the front and back. The design is the same on both sides and both sides are shown. The pot is marked LF Fine Porcelain, Limoges, PRG. I cannot find a Limoges backstamp like this. I do see it on other pieces but cannot connect it to any Limoges decorator and do not have a date for it. I do not know if the backstamp is really Limoges or not. The pot is footed and measures 6.50 inches from the back of the pot to the spout. The top blue edge where there is a beaded band measures 5.75 inches wide as shown in picture 1 and about 4.75 inches wide under the spout. The pot is 9.75 inches tall to the rim and 12.25 inches to the top of the handle on the lid. The base is about ½ inch off the ground. It is 9.00 inches from handle to spout, so this pot needs some room to sit. The pot holds forty-four fluid ounces. Much of the gold detail on this item has a raised edge or beaded details. There is also a place on the top and bottom on white where there are some pink and blue dots with a gold dotted circle around them and lines going up and down at the top as seen in pictures 7 & 8. The feet are painted gold and the lid is an exact match. The pot also has a large gold painted handle. The inside is clean with no stains or damage. It is marked as shown.
