Authentic late-19th-century antique porcelain sugar bowl (with lid) and matching creamer set, manufactured by the legendary Haviland & Co. in Limoges, France.This exquisite set features Havilands classic elegant swirled/torse fluting. It is beautifully decorated with delicate, hand-finished blue and soft brown floral sprigs, accented by brilliant, heavy gold-glazed double handles and a matching gold finial.What makes this set exceptionally rare and collectible is the double-stamped provenance on the base, revealing it was custom-commissioned for a prestigious Gilded Age luxury importer in Upstate New York.  Note: There is a small chip on the handle on top of the sugar bowl lid. It is mostly on the side of the handle, so it is hardly seen from the front. See photos.
