Vintage Indian Kantha Quilt Reversible Coral Floral Green Yellow Hand Stitched T

Beautiful one-of-a-kind vintage Indian kantha quilt with two completely different looks — a cheerful green, soft pink and golden yellow geometric design on one side and a gorgeous coral/salmon floral print on the reverse. Made from layers of repurposed sari textiles and covered throughout with traditional rows of hand-done kantha stitching. I especially love the contrast between the almost modern geometric side and the wonderfully bohemian floral reverse. The coral side features scattered flowers and leaves in green, yellow, cream and muted purple, along with decorative floral borders. The reverse has a graphic green-and-yellow pattern over a pale pink/cream ground. The mix of patterns gives this piece so much personality.
