A truly beautiful and exceptionally well-preserved vintage fur stole dating to circa 1940s.  This luxurious stole is a rich, dark chocolate brown with beautifully soft, full fur and an elegant, elongated silhouette. It has the timeless glamour of the mid-century era and would be stunning worn over an evening dress, tailored coat, or vintage suit.  A Piece with Wonderful Provenance  This stole comes from a private collection and originally belonged to my consignment client's grandmother. She was the daughter of a United States diplomat and spent much of her formative years in Asia. The stole was originally purchased at 27 Des Voeux Road Central in Hong Kong, adding a fascinating international history to an already beautiful vintage piece. The lining is clean and beautifully preserved with no apparent damage, and all original retaining straps remain intact.  As with any vintage fur, there may be minor variations or subtle signs of age consistent with its history, but overall this is an unusually well-preserved example.
