VTG Gucci Interlocking GG Belt Brown Leather Gold Buckle 1980s 85/34 Authentic. An exceptional piece of fashion history!!! Authentic Vintage 1970s-1980s Gucci belt features the iconic interlocking double GG monograms statement buckle in high-shine gold-tone metal. Crafted in Italy from premium, thick dark brown grained calfskin leather with classic tonal perimeter stitching. This is a beautiful example of Old Gucci craftsmanship. Features the rare, period-correct arched cursive MADE IN ITALY BY GUCCI gold foil heat stamp on the interior lining. Heavyweight hardware, polished gold-tone interlocking GG buckle with a secure peg-in-hole closure. Stamped Size 85/34, see photos for measurements. Strap width approximately 1.5 inches. Best fits modern waist/hip sizes 28 to 34 due to hole spacing. VERY GOOD Vintage Condition. The leather strap remains strong, flexible, and structurally, sound with a gorgeous natural grain patina. The gold-tone buckle retains a high shine with only light surface hairline scratches consistent with age. Please Note: One extra sizing hole was neatly added by a previous owner to accommodate a smaller waist (approx. 28) allowing for a more versatile high-waisted styling.
