1993 Hand Painted Folk Art Wood Plaque Teddy Bear Bunny Hearts Signed

Charming hand-painted wooden wall plaque featuring a stuffed teddy bear and bunny sitting beside a basket overflowing with patchwork hearts. Painted in soft country blue, dusty pink, cream, and brown with scalloped edges and coordinating blue accents around the border. The artwork has wonderful little details throughout, including stitched and patchwork-style textures that give it that quintessential early-’90s country/folk art look. Signed “by J. Schultz” near the lower right of the artwork. The unfinished wood back has a handwritten inscription dated 3-29-93, giving the piece a wonderful bit of provenance and confirming it was already in existence by 1993. A metal sawtooth hanger is attached and ready for wall display. Perfect for a nursery, cottage or country-inspired room, vintage children’s decor collection, or anyone who loves sweet handmade folk art. Condition: Good vintage condition with age-appropriate surface wear, marks and discoloration. There is visible staining/discoloration toward the lower left portion of the painted front and general wear around the edges. Back retains the original handwritten 1993 inscription. Please review photos closely for condition. Lovingly sourced and packed by Hazey Autumn — where every piece has a story worth keeping.
