This piece is a hand-blown Fenton Aqua/Teal Blue Optic Coin Dot (Thumbprint) Art Glass Vase featuring a classic double-crimped ruffled rim with an applied dark blue crest edge. Pattern / Optic: Coin Dot / Thumbprint optic pattern pressed into the rounded bulbous body. Color: Vibrant teal / aqua blue base glass featuring a dark cobalt blue applied crest trim along the crimped rim. Rim Style: Hand-crimped, double-ruffled (pinched) flared rim. Base Finish: Smooth, polished pontil / recessed flat base. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with crisp glass clarity, no visible chips or cracks along the ruffled points. This vase was made by Fenton Art Glass. Manufacturer: Fenton Art Glass Company (Williamstown, West Virginia). Pattern / Line: Optic Coin Dot (Thumbprint) with a double-crimped ruffled rim. Color: Turquoise / Aqua with an applied Cobalt Blue Crest rim. Era: Circa late 1940s to 1950s (pre-1970s Fenton pieces were unmarked and originally identified only by foil paper labels).
