Description
Up for sale is a beautiful Vintage Subtil Caldas da Rainha Ceramic Strawberry Basket. Handmade and painted in Portugal, this authentic majolica piece features a highly textured white braided-handle basket overflowing with high-gloss, realistic red strawberries and deep green leaves. The base still retains its original clear Subtil Caldas da Rainha Portugal foil maker's sticker. Perfect for adding a dash of vintage European charm to a kitchen island, dining display. Excellent vintage condition with no major structural chips or cracks. The colorful fruit glaze remains bright and glossy with some slight wear on 2 strawberries (see pictures). Some typical vintage residue from an old price sticker is present on the bottom near the maker's label, which can be easily cleaned if desired. Please review all photos for complete measurements and condition details.
