Hand-thrown in 1976 and finished in a rich oxblood drip glaze over warm golden ochre, this studio pottery vase carries nearly fifty years of history — and a personal message on its base: “To Grandma Love Susan Birthday 1976” The form is beautifully balanced, rounded gourd body with a softly flared neck. The glaze cascades naturally, creating deep red pools against the golden base, shifting from burgundy to ember.
