Electronic Drum Trigger Cone DIY Repair Part

This is a DIY replacement part (trigger cone) for electronic drum mesh pads.

Mesh pads that have been used for a long time can experience wear and tear on the conical part above the sensor, making it difficult for vibrations to transmit from the pad to the sensor.

This product is a DIY replacement part manufactured with a high-precision 3D printer.

We use a very soft TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) material, with a structure similar to porous materials like sponge, and adjust the density to achieve a softness close to genuine parts. This allows it to absorb shock while effectively transmitting vibrations to the sensor.

Although it can be cut with scissors, it comes with cushion-type double-sided tape applied in a way that does not interfere with the sensor wiring. A groove is also provided at the bottom of the cone to avoid the wiring, so simply align the groove and attach it for a secure fit on the sensor surface.

As it is manufactured with a high-precision 3D printer, you may notice fine holes on the surface and some roughness on the sides due to the manufacturing process, but this does not affect usability (I have been using it on my own pad for over 2 years without any issues).

Replacement is not difficult (simply remove the head, carefully peel off the old part, and attach the new one. You can find instructions by searching online).

After installation, please adjust the sensitivity on your sound module.

Sizes vary depending on the pad, so we provide sizes tailored to your specific pad (please note that using an incorrect size can lead to sensitivity issues with the head/rim, failure to detect striking position, or damage/disconnection of the sensor).
