Vintage Porcelain Bon Bon Dish Wicker Handle Blue Roses Gilt Rim As Is

Bring classic cottagecore elegance to your vanity or table with this vintage porcelain bon bon candy dish. Made in Japan, this delicate piece features a unique asymmetrical, heart-shaped design adorned with a romantic pattern of vivid blue roses and soft green foliage. The scalloped edges are beautifully highlighted by an intricate, bright gold gilt filigree trim. A central accent is the overhead handle, meticulously wrapped in deep maroon/burgundy vinyl wicker reed and secured to the porcelain base with sturdy wrapped wire loops. While it does not bear a visible backstamp on the underside, it showcases the hallmark style of mid-century Japanese decorative export porcelain. Measurements: The dish measures approximately 7.5 inches across. With the fixed upright handle, the total height reaches about 5.5 inches. Condition: This item is being sold AS IS due to wear on the handle. The wrapped wicker coating has split on one side, exposing the underlying core structure (clearly documented in the close-up photos). The porcelain body itself is in great vintage shape with no chips, cracks, or structural damage, and shows only minor shelf wear on the bottom ring.
