Hand-painted ceramic or porcelain figurine with a central metallic winding pole. The horse is sculpted in a galloping pose with a light tan body, a molded white mane and tail, a detailed saddle blanket accent with blue scales, and a red draped chest harness. It sits on a distinct, smooth cylindrical copper-finished metallic base which houses the internal winding music mechanism. These particular models were commonly manufactured in Taiwan during the late 1980s and early 1990s for vintage giftware brands and collectible distributors.
