2 Vintage Framed "La Mode Illustree" Prints French Fashion Bates Art Industries

2  Vintage La Mode Illustree Framed Prints both in good condition. One has with a water spot in top corner. From Bates Art Industries in Chicago IL, these prints are from before the 1950s for sure. Size including the frame is 6.5 x 8.5. There are some tears on the back paper. Each still have their original hook for hanging.  La Mode Illustrée (English translation: The Illustrated Magazine), was a French fashion magazine, published between 1860 and 1937 and was headquartered in Paris. It was known for its high quality illustrations by Adele-Anaïs Colin Toudouze and Héloïse Leloir. It was one of the biggest fashion magazines in the world as well as in the French fashion history during the second half of the 19th century. It has been called the first weekly fashion magazine.
