Elegant pair of antique Empire-style black marble Corinthian column candlesticks featuring ornate acanthus leaf capitals, lion paw feet, and a rich aged patina. Inspired by classical Neoclassical architecture, these substantial candlesticks make an impressive display for collectors and traditional interiors.  The polished black marble columns exhibit natural white veining and are supported by heavy cast bases with sculpted lion paw feet. Original candle prickets remain intact. The pair measures approximately 13 and 13.25 tall with 5 square bases.  Very good antique condition with expected age-related wear, natural marble variations, surface patina, and minor imperfections consistent with age.
