A beautifully aged vintage desk ink blotter crafted in Argentina and wrapped in genuine crocodilian leather, believed to be caiman. The rich caramel and chestnut tones, pronounced natural scale pattern, and heavy hand-laced construction give this piece exceptional warmth and character.  Stamped Industria Argentina, confirming Argentine manufacture, this blotter reflects the country's long tradition of fine leather craftsmanship. The curved hardwood rocker is fitted with its original blotting paper, still showing authentic ink transfer from decades of use, creating a wonderful sense of history.  The leather has developed an attractive patina with honest age-related wear, including edge rubbing, light surface cracking, and minor scuffs that enhance its vintage character without detracting from its presentation. The original blotting paper remains installed and shows expected wear from years of use. The underside is stamped Industria Argentina.
