Description
This is an elegant Ichimatsu (checkerboard) pattern Omeshi silk kimono with a sophisticated shaded dye effect.
The deep beige shading makes it easy to pair with any obi (sash).
The small Ichimatsu pattern is very stylish.
Because the shading is in the same color, it creates a subtle color variation when worn, making it more fashionable than a plain solid color.
Omeshi silk can be worn as either a solid color kimono or a Tsumugi silk kimono, and it is a versatile and durable garment.
This was custom-made from fabric chosen at a long-established kimono shop in Osaka.
This is not a pre-owned item.
Fabric scraps are also included.
It has been worn once for a short period and is in beautiful condition.
